Well, here I am (a 55-year-old who remembers typing his own college papers on a Smith Corona electric typewriter) posting a blog on the web for all to see!!

College profs do have the tendency to believe that their opinions are worthy to be shared with the whole world!! Some of mine perhaps are, others may not be worth the pixels they're made from . . .

In any case, I attempt to keep my actual faculty website purely academic, not posting partisan or controversial matters on a server hosted by my institution. Here, however, I'll be a bit more forceful.
